Hong Kong and south China battle wildspread flooding from record rains

Hong Kong and cities across southern China are battling flooding caused by the heaviest rains in over 140 years."

breaking news, Friday September 8th, Hong Kong's subway station was underwater and currently shut down. This flood sent over 100 people in the hospital and currently are waiting for more information. This flood was so high that people were climbing on their cars, along with high evaluated places to keep safe.

before this happened on Thursday authorities got a warning that it was going to rain about 70mm an hour. This was the first time this has happened since 1884. luckily, everyone was safe as it turned from "black" warning to an amber alert. As it was raining, they managed to record over 200mm in Hong Kong. Not only Hong Kong got affected, but south of China as well.

South of China also got hit by this rain as it was also a record since 1952. Instead of a couple of people affected by this storm, more than millions were hit by this in south of China. This showed that climate change does affect the countries and that this Storm could've had more inflicting damage.
