"In a world first, scientists say an 8cm (3in) worm has been found alive in the brain of an Australian woman.
Breaking news, for the first-time scientist has discovered an 8cm worm in womans brain. While the doctors where performing surgery they discovered a worm. The worm was discovered in the damaged frontal lobe while she was under surgery last year.
The woman was 64 and felt symptoms such as stomach pain, depression, coughing and others. the woman went to the hospital in January 2021 and found out the parasite has been alive for two months.
while the scientist pulled out the parasite, they realized it was still alive and shocked that it was. the worm was identified as it was called Ophidascaris robertsi roundworm. This type of worm is common in Australia and says she likely got it when she picked up a certain grass.
the woman seems to be recovered and safe from this worm that was once inside of her brain. As this was not reported before, it sure as well be now.
