The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, said the country would consider "little pauses" in the fighting in Gaza to allow aid to enter and hostages to exit. However, Israel has rejected calls for ceasefire despite international tension and pressure rising. When asked about potential humanitarian pauses in fighting for goods transported in and the evacuation of hostages, he said "I suppose we'll check the circumstances" to ABC News. There's been growing concerns about the humanitarian crisis with Israel and Hamas since Hamas has killed 1,400 people and seized more than 240 hostages. In return, Israel has struck Gaza and has launched many assaults from the air and ground. United Nation members and several advocates are still pressing for a ceasefire amidst this ongoing crisis.
