President Biden and President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador met on Friday at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit and stated they would “work together to address migration and combat fentanyl trafficking to the U.S,” The U.S and Mexico have discussed these issues that have been brought up numerous times. Biden also mentioned his conversation with Chinese President Xi, where they spoke about fentanyls flow. Although President Biden and Lopez Obrador have found themselves “at odds.” before, both are committed to addressing these issues together.
