Even though there is no direct link to Russia being involved in the Hamas attack this weekend, it does benefit them. Now that the world turns its attention to the Middle East, eyes and attention will no longer be on Ukraine in the coming weeks. There are rumors that Russia or the Wagner group helped train or informed Hamas on how to carry out this attack. Israel has been a military ally of the US for a while, so it would be easy to have bipartisan agreements to aid them now vs Ukraine.
