This comes only a month after Kim Jong Un and Vladimir Putin met in Russia to discuss their partnership and aid to Russia as the need for military equipment has grown. The US National Security Spokesman, John Kirby, stated that North Korea has sent over 1,000 containers of equipment to Russia in recent weeks. Following up on the claim, Washington did release satellite images. North Korea is believed to receive technology from Russia to help aid its nuclear program in exchange for military equipment. Following the visit with Putin, Kim stated that the country should grow their nuclear program faster than before and that they were a key country partner in this "new Cold War" with the US. Kim also went on to say that they will not be sharing nuclear weapon information publically.
